Fuse Fleet has introduced what it says is Australia’s first insurance-driven ESG reporting tool for fleets, employing Greater Than’s AI technology.
This solution enables companies to monitor and report their environmental and social impacts, aligning with the upcoming mandatory sustainability reporting requirements in Australia.
The latest move expands the collaboration of Fuse Fleet with data analytics provider Greater Than to include sustainability and ESG reporting.
The new ESG reporting feature complements Fuse Fleet’s existing offerings, which include a behaviour-based insurance solution that incentivises safe driving with the potential for lower premiums.
Fuse Fleet was introduced by Australia’s DKG Insurance Group in 2023, in association with Greater Than.
To cater to fleets without telematics systems, Fuse Fleet provides an app that delivers driver safety insights for risk management and precise insurance pricing.

By GlobalDataWith the addition of climate impact insights to the app, Fuse Fleet now assists fleets in their sustainability initiatives and ESG reporting obligations.
Fuse Fleet commercial executive general manager Simon Donovan said: “Demand for ESG transparency, action and reporting is in higher demand than ever and it is critical for fleets to access reliable driver safety and sustainability data.
“We are proud to be the first in the Australian insurance industry to deliver a seamless ESG solution for fleets, making it easier to track and report on ESG impact from a mobility perspective.”
The tool is particularly timely, as sustainability reporting is set to become compulsory from January 2025 in Australia.
Companies will be required to submit comprehensive reports detailing their climate impact and scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions disclosures.
Greater Than’s AI technology, which generates the data insights for Fuse Fleet, calculates both the drivers’ risk levels and their climate impact using solely GPS driving data.
This data-driven approach ensures that fleets have access to accurate and actionable information to guide their sustainability strategies.
Greater Than APAC head Johan Forseke said: “Fuse Fleet is based on data analytics and technological innovation so it is no surprise to see them become pioneers within the Australian insurance industry in terms of ESG reporting.
“With this new solution, Fuse Fleet takes a leading role in helping companies across the country to lower their carbon footprint and improve driver safety, all while accessing better insurance pricing.”
