DCJ Insurance Group, a subsidiary of Global Risk Partners, has purchased Real Insurance Group for an undisclosed sum.
The acquired firm is a commercial broker, which provides a variety of insurance solutions such as business insurance, property owners, motor trade and manufacturers.
Established in 1976, Real Insurance Group was a member of Hedron Network, which was acquired by GRP in February this year.
As per the terms of the agreement, Real Insurance Group will continue to operate from its current location, Mansfield.
DCJ Insurance Group expects the acquisition to boost its growth beyond Derbyshire roots.
GRP M&A head Stephen Ross said: “Offering brokerages an option to create value from their work via a sale was part of the rationale behind our deal to buy Hedron Network, so I’m especially pleased that we have brought Real Insurance across the line so quickly to be part of DCJ.”
