Insurance firm HDI Global SE Canada has launched an Accident and Health (A&H) division in Canada and named Michael Krem as its head.
Krem previously served as the director of National Distribution for Accident and Health Canada at AIG Canada.
With nearly two decades of insurance experience, Krem has expertise in special risk group. He moved from AIG to Sun Life, where he held sales management roles.
Krem’s experience provides special risk group benefits to HDI, which intends to strengthen its market position, HDI Global said.
Krem said: “I am excited to be spearheading the launch of Accident and Health at HDI. Our goal is to enhance our service offerings and transform special risk group benefits by making them more streamlined and efficient for our valued clients.”
HDI Global SE leverages its global network to offer a wide range of products including group personal accident, illness and business travel coverages, accessible in more than 100 countries.
