US-based insurance broker Higginbotham has partnered with Program Insurance Group of Georgetown, Texas, known for EZ CERT, a nationally deployed insurance certificate tracking service.
This move aligns with Higginbotham’s growth initiative headed by chairman and CEO Rusty Reid, focused on collaborations with agencies that resonate with the company’s core values.

The EZ CERT service streamlines compliance for franchisees, ensuring protection for franchisors.
Program Insurance Group Principal Doug Groves said: “We all walked out of our first meeting with Higginbotham saying, ‘This is what we are looking for’. We have found a great partner in Higginbotham, for our family, our team and of course, for our clients.”

In November 2024, Higginbotham expanded it presence in the south-east US with the addition of the 150-year family-owned Fitts Agency in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Fitts Agency’s addition follows Higginbotham’s earlier 2023 partnership with Alabama’s WRM Group.
The integration is expected to equip the Fitts team with more resources to better support their clients.
