Higginbotham and Sellers-Patterson Insurance have consolidated their operations in Tyler, Texas.
Sellers-Patterson Insurance, an employee benefits and individual health insurance broker, has been operating in Tyler for more than two decades. The business tends to small and large employers as well as individuals.

The merged entity will operate as Sellers-Patterson and will employ 16 staff.
The combination results in the creation of Higginbotham’s second office in Tyler. The firm’s first office in the region was launched in 2014.
The new office will be headed by Linda Sellers as managing director. Sellers currently serves as the mayor pro tem of the city of Tyler and is a representative on city council for district 1.
“Our emphasis is always on providing year-round service to our insureds. Partnering with Higginbotham allows us to deepen our customer service and offer more options for other lines of insurance, including commercial property and casualty,” Sellers noted.
