UK-based Hyperion Insurance Group has named Mark Craig as its new group CFO, and Mark Hudson as its new group finance director.
Bothe the appointments, the company said, are effective from January 2020.
Craig, who joined the company in 2017, is presently head of investments and debt capital markets, responsible for the company’s investment programme.
He will become a member of the company’s Group Executive Committee and its Board of Directors once he assumes the new role.
Hudson, who has more than 25 years of general insurance experience, joined as CFO of Hyperion’s underwriting business DUAL in 2016.
Even after he assumes the new role, Hudson will retain his current responsibilities, the company said.

Richard Houghton, the interim group CFO, will leave Hyperion later this year after handing over all responsibilities to Craig and Hudson.
