ICEYE, specialising in persistent monitoring through synthetic aperture radar satellite technology, and Insurity have announced a partnership to enhance disaster response.
This collaboration integrates the near real-time natural catastrophe insights of ICEYE into Insurity’s geospatial analytics platform.
The move is designed to enable insurers to respond effectively to disaster events, serve policyholders quickly and reduce avoidable losses.
ICEYE’s SAR satellite constellation and monitoring capabilities offer Insurity clients objective, actionable insights for any location on Earth, unaffected by time or weather conditions.
Insurity customers stand to benefit from the incorporation of ICEYE’s geospatial data into their claims processes. This advancement is expected to improve the accuracy and speed at which insurers can respond to policyholders.
Insurity CEO Chris Lafond said: “Our partnership with ICEYE reinforces Insurity’s commitment to delivering the most advanced data and analytics solutions to our P&C [property and casualty] insurance customers.
