US-based conversational insurance platform Indemn has introduced its AI-powered Agent Copilot.
The new SaaS solution aims to enhance customer service for insurance agents, MGAs and insurance companies by utilising natural language processing powered by Generative AI.
Indemn’s Agent Copilot is engineered to assist insurance professionals during live chat conversations by providing response recommendations.
It learns from each interaction to provide a service that is increasingly personalised.
The AI-driven assistant was developed through training in the insurance domain, incorporating advanced language models and human-in-the-loop learning.
It is tailored to each client’s specific business needs including their tone, products and knowledge base.

By GlobalDataWith each customer interaction across various digital touchpoints, the AI agents become more adept and integrated into the business operations, the insurtech company noted.
Indemn co-founder and CEO Kyle Geoghan said: “We started Indemn to deliver natural language access to insurance products and services through cutting-edge AI. Through our journey, we have learned what it takes to deliver an exceptional user experience with AI agents.
“With the launch of our Copilot, we are excited to share these capabilities more broadly, with insurance agents and MGAs, helping them better serve customers, reduce costs and drive revenue growth.”
Indemn co-founder and CTO Patrick Daly said: “Large Language Models provide a foundation for improved customer experiences for insurance. Our Copilot is an AI-native solution for distributing and servicing insurance products and expertise.
“It is a command centre. We believe we can provide the future of buying, selling and servicing insurance, and we are thrilled to partner with forward-thinking insurance businesses to make it a reality.”
The launch follows Indemn’s $1.9m pre-seed funding round earlier this year.
The round was led by Markd and saw contributions from Afterwork Ventures, Everywhere Ventures, as well as several entrepreneurs and insurance industry leaders from Australia and the US.
