Claims prevention insurtech for home insurers Ondo has been given the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (ISO 27001) certification.
ISO 27001 is a global security standard that determines the requirements for establishing, using, maintaining and improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Ondo fast-tracked this process so it can be an approved supplier to Nationwide, a major financial services firm in the US.
In addition, the scope of Ondo’s ISMS includes the assets, technologies, and processes employed by Ondo for processing, management, and delivery of LeakBot services to its customers worldwide.

The 3rd party confirmation of the ISO 27001 Certification is another step in Ondo’s growth story and demonstrates to new and existing partners that we are ready to deal with the very largest insurers in the world such as Nationwide.”
In February 2024, Ondo signed an agreement with South West Water so it can utilise LeakBot to reduce water leaks in the South West of England.

By GlobalDataSouth West Water provide water and wastewater services to 1.8 million customers across Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly and parts of Dorset and Somerset.
Furthermore, South West Water will use Ondo and LeakBot to an initial 6.000 customers by the end of March 2024. The goal is to reduce water wastage by alerting customers and resolving as many leaks as possible, as quickly as possible.
South West Water customers will be offered a LeakBot and a free repair, with as many repairs as possible being completed within the first few months.
