US-based insurance brokerage Inszone Insurance Services has acquired Albert C. Simonds & Co. Insurance Services for an undisclosed sum.
This move is set to enhance Inszone Insurance’s expertise, particularly in the healthcare and emerging technology sectors.
Founded in 1969, Albert C. Simonds & Co. has been present in the insurance industry for the past five decades.
In 1983, Albert Simonds’ son, Jim Simonds, joined the company, taking over as the primary owner in 1992.
Jim Simonds has experience in Employee Benefits and Property & Casualty insurance, with expertise in developing specialised risk management services for healthcare companies.
Jim said: “Inszone stands out by far; no one else is doing what they are doing in the same style. Not to mention, so much of the team comes from an acquisition.”
