Legal & General Retail has appointed Vikki Jefferies as market development director following the retirement of Jeff Woods, head of intermediary development.
Jefferies joins Legal & General from LSL Financial Services where she was a member of the executive team.

In addition, she was responsible for the Primis proposition and relationship management across mortgage, protection and general insurance.
Furthermore, she holds over 25 years of experience, having previously worked at Endsleigh.
As market development director, Jefferies will report directly to Ali Crossley, MD Distribution and lead the Legal & General Retail strategy to grow its presence and influence in the intermediated market, working closely with partners, distributors, and advisers to deliver innovative and customer-centric solutions across the business. She will focus on proposition developments including the high value, business protection, and core distribution propositions.
