Doctor Care Anywhere, the digital healthcare company, has partnered with Hong Kong-headquartered Abacare, an international insurance broker specialising in employee benefits, medical, health and life insurance, to provide its virtual doctor service.
The service will be offered to Abacare’s thousands of corporate clients, SMEs and individual policy holders. Abacare has an extensive footprint across the Asia-Pacific region, with clients in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Japan, Myanmar, Vietnam and the Philippines.

Doctor Care Anywhere provides online consultations with UK-trained doctors to its members anywhere in the world. Customers can access personalised clinical care from 24 hours a day, 365 days a year via a secure, 20-minute video or phone appointments.
Through the partnership, Abacare’s clients will be offered virtual doctor appointment services, with referrals to specialists and fit notes when required as standard.
Global prescription management service
Through their global prescription management service, depending on the country the customer is in, medication prescribed by Doctor Care Anywhere doctors can be delivered direct to the patient, collected from a local pharmacy or doctors can provide over the counter advice.
