Vexcel Insurance SVP Glen Brooks said: “While we have a small segment of the Lloyd’s Market using our platform today, we are excited to showcase our extensive aerial imagery and data library to a broader segment of the market, offering insurers quick access to valuable, ready-to-use imagery and insights to enhance decision-making across their policies.”
Vexcel’s global reach extends across more than 40 countries including Australia, Canada, Japan, the UK, the US, Western Europe and other regions.
The company is also known for its Gray Sky initiative, which provides imagery of properties affected by natural disasters like wildfires, hurricanes and tornadoes in certain areas.
Utilising AI and machine learning, Vexcel processes its imagery library to extract and update property insights.
These insights encompass building and property attributes such as roof materials and conditions, building footprints and other critical details that enable insurers to gain a deeper understanding of properties.
