Manulife Vietnam has signed a three-year bancassurance partnership with Mekong Housing Bank (MHB).
The partnership will enable Manulife Vietnam to sell life insurance services to MHB’s clients in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

The partnership will allow Manulife Vietnam to tap into MHB’s extensive network in the two cities and expand its business there. MHB currently has 60 branches and transaction offices in Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi. As part of the agreement, Manulife Vietnam will also train the bank’s employees on its life insurance products.
Paul Nguyen, CEO of Manulife Vietnam, said: "The agreement is a win-win for Manulife Vietnam and MHB as it allows both organizations to provide the most suitable financial services and life insurance solutions for their clients."
Manulife Vietnam’s bancassurance partnership with MHB, is the latest of several agreements currently in place with other banks in Vietnam such as ANZ and Techcombank, to provide life insurance solutions to clients.
Established in June 1999, Manulife Vietnam was the first 100% foreign-owned life insurer in Vietnam.
