MetLife has introduced a MetLife Max, a range of superannuation plans, in order to cater to the independent financial advisor market.
Designed to provide investors with a retirement investment plan from the age of 45 years, the MetLife Max will be distributed across Australia through independent financial advisers.
MetLife retirement solutions head Ashvin Arora said that with MetLife Max, if investors choose a product with a guarantee, they can transfer some market risk to the company and retain access to growth, while also benefiting from low ongoing fees.
"In developing MetLife Max, our priority was to deliver affordable products that meet the needs of Australian investors," Arora added.
