Insurtech company MiKargo247 has signed Falvey Insurance Group as its underwriting partner.
The collaboration aims to extend coverage beyond trucking to include air, ocean and cross-border insurance options.
This move enables MiKargo247 to provide all-risk cargo insurance to motor carriers, freight brokers, freight forwarders and shippers.
The alliance has facilitated an increase in the available truckload limit, which now reaches up to $2m for all approved commodities, with the cross-border limit also rising to $1m.
Additionally, the coverage now includes items such as laptops, tablets and mobile phones.
The company has reduced the number of required fields for obtaining instant quotes and making purchases.
