UK-based (re)insurer MS Amlin has selected Socotra and Mendix for its new digital Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) insurance initiative.
MS Amlin is a subsidiary of MS&AD insurance group with operations in Lloyd’s, Europe, and Bermuda.
The company’s new SME insurance platform is said to underline the commitment to small and medium-sized enterprises in Europe and draws on a digital-first distribution approach.
It will be initially launched in the Netherlands, UK, Belgium and France with product offerings that include commercial liability, fleet, property and commercial package products.
MS Amlin expects to launch the first end-to-end digital product offerings in the first half of next year.
The digital proposition is directed at improving all areas of the insurance value chain, including claims and finance, noted the company.
