The new platform will power its policyholder communications across the entire life insurance lifecycle, including policy packets, statements and letter correspondence.
National Guardian Life information services vice president, director Gary Means said: "In order to keep pace with our rapid growth and also meet the ever-changing needs of our policyholders, it was clear that the time had come to replace our aging iStream/Calligo-based document generation application with a new, modern customer communications solution.
NGL said that the new communications platform is easy to integrate into legacy infrastructures and easy to use in the development of complex policies in high-volume production environments as well as the generation of error-free, personalized correspondence in real time.
The life insurer will transfer its existing templates from the iStream/Calligo repository to Cincom Eloquence and combine its legacy policy administration application, StoneRiver’s ID3, which will accelerate template development, testing and approval.
"This approach allows us to shed redundant templates and entities from our library and take full advantage of Eloquence’s dynamic template design capabilities like universal components, rules logic and variations to deliver better communications, faster," Means added.
Established in 1909, NGL operates as a mutual insurance company located in Madison, Wisconsin.
