Stere P3, the first available technology module, is designed to increase programme success rates by more than 25%. It also aims to reduce the carriers and reinsurers’ financial and time investment in programme scouting by a minimum of 50%.

MGA/MGUs, insurtechs, and embedded insurance programmes can use the module to source insurance capacity and access digital tools from different participants.

Stere CEO Dogan Kaleli said: “The launch of Stere equips programme owners with a superior selection engine, pairing human intuition with well-designed technology to increase success rates and speed-to-market, while creating growth opportunities for capacity providers.

“Stere’s programme placement platform, Stere P3, tackles the capacity sourcing challenges I experienced firsthand in my previous roles, and that the hardening market has now intensified.”

NFP managing director and leader of MGA and MGU Tom Gillingham said: “Improving customer experience, launching new products, creating process efficiencies, and using data to enhance underwriting are key areas of focus for managed programmes.

“This has sparked the creation of a digital ecosystem to support MGA/MGUs, insurtechs and program managers, and we’re excited to be working with Stere to move the industry forward.”
