New York Life (NYL) is
keeping up with the fast-growing trend towards mobile internet
access, with the launch of a new mobile website. Introduction of
the service creates the “most comprehensive mobile offering in the
industry”, claims NYL.
“Bringing our many Virtual
Service Center capabilities to a customer’s hand-held device
delivers service in the most convenient way and we are very pleased
to do so,” said NYL’s head of individual policy services Gary
Miller.
The service from the US’
largest mutual insurer will enable customers to view detailed
information about their insurance policies, annuities, and variable
products including cash value and premium payment. They will also
be able to access beneficiary information and transfer funds, view
changes to future payments and investment allocations.
