Home insurance claims prevention tech firm Ondo has expanded its operations in the US and will be trialled in the UK.

Ageas UK will introduce the Ondo LeakBot to its customers in a 12-month trial. During this trial, LeakBot detectors and repairs will be provided for free to these customers.

In addition to UK moves, both Nationwide and Pure are expanding their respective US Ondo LeakBot programmes into Washington state

Furthermore, Ondo has announced the appointment of Wendi Leibovitz as director of customer success North America.

Leibovitz joins Ondo from SimpliSafe where she ran Embedded Partnerships for the smart home security company.

Earlier this year, Ondo was given the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (ISO 27001) certification.

ISO 27001 is a global security standard that determines the requirements for establishing, using, maintaining and improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Ondo fast-tracked this process so it can be an approved supplier to Nationwide, a major financial services firm in the US.

In addition, the scope of Ondo’s ISMS includes the assets, technologies, and processes employed by Ondo for processing, management, and delivery of LeakBot services to its customers worldwide.
