By GlobalDataThe acquisition of AIMS is expected to bolster Origin Specialty’s business expansion and complement Beyond Risk’s product offerings.
It is also in line with Beyond Risk’s efforts to partner with industry teams and markets to deliver several programme underwriting services as well as other alternative risk financing solutions to its clients.
Beyond Risk CEO Blake Wakefield said: “The partnership with AIMS team is a strategic expansion of Origin Specialty’s business and complements our existing products at Beyond Risk.
“Partnering with AIMS team is a compelling opportunity to increase our combined underwriting and expand in an underserved market with a leading programme underwriting team.”
According to Lindley, the acquisition will allow AIMS to leverage Origin Specialty’s expertise in programme underwriting, strong carrier/reinsurance partnerships, as well as its operational platform.
This will enable AIMS to broaden its product distribution and introduce new solutions for clients and agents.
Origin Specialty president Neno Djordjevic said: “I am impressed with underwriting capabilities at AIMS and outstanding customer service provided to their agents and insureds, which Clark and his team have built over last 20+ years.
“Their long-standing agent and carrier partner relationships match our ethos at Origin Specialty, and we are excited to continue to grow with AIMS team, reaching a broader network of agents and brokers together.”
