Pen Underwriting, a subsidiary of Arthur J. Gallagher, has named Hannah Fry as chief operating officer (COO), effective 6 January 2025.
Fry will also be part of the executive team of the multi-class, multi-territory specialist underwriting and distribution business.
The employment is pending regulatory approval.
In her new role, she will be tasked with ensuring the operational capabilities of company to achieve its strategic business vision and growth plans.
Fry has been working in the insurance sector for 25 years.
She latterly served as operations director for the SME & Personal Lines division of Gallagher in the UK.

Her career at Stackhouse began 18 years earlier, where she progressed to director of risk, compliance and central operations after starting as a corporate account handler.
