Prudential Corporation Asia has signed a regional agreement to integrate HælthTech’s OMNI cloud-computing technology into PRUWorks by Prudential.
PRUWorks is a digital ecosystem designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Asia. It provides a number of insurance products, employee benefits and business services to SMEs.
After launching PRUWorks in Singapore last year, Prudential introduced the digital ecosystem in Indonesia this month, aiming to expand the platform in Southeast Asia.
Prudential said that HælthTech’s OMNI technology will support straight-through processing of transactions and speed up automation of core processes for PRUWorks.
Both partners will cooperate to deploy the integrated administration platform in all markets where PRUWorks will be launched.
Prudential Asia CEO Nic Nicandrou said: “As a leading insurer and asset manager, Prudential is committed to supporting the growth of SMEs, which are the backbone of Asia’s economy.
