Prudential Financial has teamed up with bereavement support platform Empathy to provide beneficiaries with a suite of resources to help them through the grieving process.

Empathy is a technology company that provides grief assistance, estate planning and probate through life insurance benefits.

Beneficiaries will have access to tools designed to assist with various aspects of bereavement such as funeral planning, composing obituaries and managing estate settlement.

In addition, beneficiaries can consult with care managers who provide personalised support with tasks, decisions and challenges during the grieving process.

The resources available through this partnership include a beneficiary hub, a wellness journal and assistance with insurance claims.

Prudential Group Insurance Product and Underwriting head Jessica Gillespie stated: “By enhancing our beneficiary support, Prudential is reaffirming its commitment to providing access to holistic support to our customers in the moments that matter.
