UK-based specialist loss adjusting firm QuesGates has acquired Rossiter Claims Management Services and Keating Claims Adjusters to bolster its presence in Ireland.
The financial value of the transactions was not disclosed.
QuesGates acquired an equity stake in Rossiter Claims Management Services in 2019 and now it has taken full control of its business operations.
Rossiter Claims Management Services’ founder and owner Paul Rossiter and his team will join QuesGates Ireland, and Paul will assume charge as divisional director and will be responsible for liability services in the country.
Dublin-based Keating Claims Adjusters’ team, which is led by Colm Keating, will also join QuesGates Ireland. Colm will take charge as the technical director and will be responsible for service, quality and client relationships.
QuestGates noted that the acquisitions make it the largest independent provider of loss adjusting services across both jurisdictions in Ireland, with a team approaching 25 claims and adjusting specialists.
QuestGates director of Ireland and specialist services Glen Donaldson said: “We’ve seen growing demand over the years for our range of specialist expertise, particularly in commercial property, environmental and liability claims, and an appreciation of our commitment to service.
“There is a vibrant market in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland and a huge pool of home-grown talent to support our ambitious growth plans.”
The firm also revealed plans of recruiting three new property and environmental adjusters in Dublin.
In a separate development, The Ardonagh Group launched Ardonagh Europe, which is headquartered in Dublin.
