Insurance brokerage Relation Insurance Services has acquired the assets of Business Aviation Insurance Services (BAIS) for an undisclosed sum.
Based in Concord, California, BAIS was founded by Geoff Logan in 2002 and specialises in aviation insurance.

Relation Insurance chief executive officer Tim Hall said: “BAIS has an unmatched reputation in the aviation community and Relation is honoured to welcome them aboard. Their specific expertise adds tremendous value to our aircraft owner and operator clients. We are thrilled to have them join our team.”
BAIS will continue to operate under Logan’s management, as part of the Relation Insurance team.
Geoff Logan said: “Partnering with Relation gives our clients access to resources that we didn’t have before. Relation’s extensive in-house expertise and wide network of carrier relationships provides our clients with new options to enhance their overall insurance programmes.”
Earlier this month, Relation Insurance announced the acquisition of SFBAG Employee Benefit Insurance Services (SFBAG).

Relation Insurance Services is a privately held corporation backed by private equity firm Aquiline Capital Partners.
The company provides superior risk management and benefits consulting services across the US. It employs around 1,350 people across more than 100 locations nationwide.
