Global life insurer Resolution Life has named Moses Ojeisekhoba, with more than 12 years of experience at Swiss Re, as its new president. 

Ojeisekhoba will take on the new responsibility from 1 October 2024.

In his new role, he will work in close coordination with Sir Clive Cowdery, the founder, chairman and CEO of Resolution Life. 

Ojeisekhoba is expected to take over as the company’s CEO in 2026, replacing Cowdery, who will continue as executive chairman. 

His new role will see him at the helm of the commercial, market-facing division of Resolution Life.  

In addition, Ojeisekhoba will be responsible for spearheading the company’s strategy, growth, profitability and value creation, Resolution Life added.

Ojeisekhoba’s appointment follows a year of significant achievements for Resolution Life, which saw various partnerships, debt issuance, reinsurance transactions, equity capital raising, as well as a key acquisition in New Zealand.

At Swiss Re, Ojeisekhoba has held several senior executive positions, most recently as CEO Global Clients & Solutions.  

In this role, he managed relationships with some of Swiss Re’s key clients and was pivotal in strengthening the reinsurance division’s position in the industry. 

Before his tenure as CEO Global Clients & Solutions, Ojeisekhoba served as CEO Reinsurance and CEO Reinsurance Asia, where he significantly expanded the company’s presence in the Asian market.  

His experience in the insurance sector also includes senior leadership roles at Chubb Group and Unico American.
