Swiss reinsurer SIGNAL IDUNA Reinsurance (SI Re) has named Arnold Löw as its new CEO, with his tenure commencing on 1 May 2025.
He will replace Bertrand R. Wollner, who will retire on 30 April 2025 after two decades of leadership.
Löw is recognised for his 20-plus years of reinsurance expertise, primarily through his leadership roles at Swiss Re.
His most recent position was as head of customer & distribution management for property & casualty solutions in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.
His career highlights include expertise in customer management, market strategy, operational excellence and spearheading digital transformation initiatives.
Notably, in 2021, he received the Innovation Prize of the Swiss Insurance Industry.

The company aims to diversify its portfolio into more markets and business segments under the guidance of the incoming CEO.
