
Tokio Marine HCC – Medical Insurance Services Group (TMHCC – MIS Group) has renamed itself WorldTrips as part of a group-wide rebranding and unveiled new website.
The rebranding also includes a new travel medical insurance product offering, which travellers will be able to buy on the group’s new website.
WorldTrips noted that policyholders will now also have the option to adjust the deductible amount, length of coverage, and overall coverage maximum.
Coverage can be purchase online, extended, or cancelled if plans change.
To offer up-to-date intelligence about destination-specific travel concerns, WorldTrips has forged data partnerships with Sherpa, a travel restriction and eVisa platform.
On Call International is WorldTrips’ partner for global travel risk management and assistance services.
It will leverage these partnerships to provide travellers with destination-specific travel safety and security information.
WorldTrips said insureds can search for doctors and hospitals, and call for referrals or assistance with lost travel documents, lost luggage or translations.

Earlier this month Chubb, a P&C insurer unveiled a Pay As You Roam (PAYR) travel insurance offering.
It utilises mobile phone roaming data to track when they are away from their home country and activates coverage automatically at a daily premium.
