Trucordia, PCF Insurance Services, has acquired business of Boater’s Insurance Agency, a firm specialising in marine insurance solutions.
Financial details of the acquisition remain undisclosed.
Established in 1989 and based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Boater’s Insurance Agency is known for developing specialised solutions for clients within the marine industry.
The company’s licencing allows it to operate across all 50 states.
Trucordia chief development officer Brooke K. DeWyze said: “Boater’s Insurance brings unique offerings and robust experience in marine insurance solutions to Trucordia, which will deepen our bench strength in this vertical. The team’s impressive growth, which has been rooted in forging strong relationships, makes BIA an ideal match for our expanding company.”
The move is part of Trucordia’s “growth strategy”, which involves acquiring businesses in potential industries and markets to enhance client services.
This acquisition follows Trucordia’s purchase of CADA Insurance Services in January 2025.
The company provides insurance solutions including auto, home, commercial, general liability, and workers’ compensation.
CADA has presence in Louisiana with offices in Baton Rouge, Chalmette, Gretna, and Kenner.
In January 2025, Trucordia also acquired Rusty Healy Insurance Agency, a Mississippi-based provider offering auto, home, business, and life insurance solutions.
The company rebranded from PCF Insurance Services to Trucordia, reflecting its committment to trust and collaboration.
Trucordia’s growth plan, revealed in 2024, is built on three fundamental pillars: optimising operations through a regional management structure, building a unified service foundation, and expanding the network through business acquisitions.
