VitalityHealth, a UK-based medical insurer, has added new enhancements to its cancer coverage, which can be availed by the new and existing policyholder without paying any additional cost.

Standard and upgrade cancer cover options have been pooled into a comprehensive proposition that will now become standard for all new and existing plans.

As a result, the new insurance will provide coverage for all of an individual’s eligible in-patient and out-patient costs in full for the following procedures.

These include radiotherapy, chemotherapy, biological, hormone and bisphosphonate therapies to cancer surgery, reconstructive surgery, stem cell therapy, as well as follow-up consultations and more.

Additionally, VitalityHealth is giving discounts on targeted cancer screenings, which includes a test to estimate an individual’s lifetime risk of breast cancer, along with screening and risk assessments for cervical and bowel cancer.
