VitalityLife has revamped its underwriting process to reduce the time take to get underwriting decisions. As a result, it should improve efficiency and make it simpler to take out a protection policy with Vitality.
The changes to VitalityLife underwriting are twofold:
- Evidence Analyser: enables nurses to upload the results of member blood tests during the nurse screening. Results are analysed and interpreted within minutes without the need for an underwriter to manually review, and
- Pre-Sales tool: advisers are provided with immediate access to the likely underwriting decision for their clients day or night. In addition, it is completely digital and requires no telephonic contact with underwriters to gain a decision.
Furthermore, Vitality is committing to making underwriting decisions within one working day.
