Pet insurance company Wagmo has launched its insurance product in the US state of Texas further expanding its presence in the country.
With the launch, Wagmo Pet Insurance is now available in 13 US states. The company’s pet wellness plans are already available across the country.
Wagmo leverages Boost’s infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) platform and a data-driven approach to cater to its customers.
The digitally-focused approach seeks to achieve faster claim processing with a 24-hour turnaround on wellness claims and 72-hour turnaround on insurance. Wagmo pays claims through PayPal, Venmo, bank transfer or direct-to-debit.
Wagmo CEO and co-founder Christie Horvath said: “We are 100% focused on pets – it’s our expertise through and through.
“Every single person on our customer support is an experienced pet parent, equipped to help not only with product questions but also all the joys and concerns that go along with pet parenting.”
