Fargo Insurance Services (WFIS) has acquired JFK Consulting Group,
an independent brokerage focused on markets in the states of Kansas
and Missouri.

It marks yet another step
along an acquisition trail being followed by WFIS which has since
February 2010 acquired four independent insurance broking
firms.

A unit of US bank Wells Fargo
& Company, WFIS report that it now ranks as the fifth largest
insurance brokerage in the world and the largest bank-owned
insurance brokerage in the US. According to WFIS, its 9,200 broking
employees place more than $16bn of risk premiums annually across
the life and general insurance sectors.
