WTW, an advisory, broking and solutions company, has expanded its Corporate Risk and Broking North America (CRB NA) offerings with the launch of a new China Client Division.

This initiative is part of WTW’s broader strategy to enhance its services tailored to the Chinese market, which falls under the recently established Asia Risk Division.

Created in December 2023, the Asia Risk Division includes country-specific teams for Japan, South Korea, India and China.

Christopher Condello heads the Asia Risk Division, overseeing all practice groups within it.

His focus is on strategic expansion and offering solutions customised to serve the unique preferences of Chinese clients.

Effective from 1 September 2024, WTW also appointed Jie Yan as the China Client Division leader.

With more than a decade of industry experience, Yan’s expertise and cultural insight into the Chinese market are expected to be key in driving the division’s growth and deepening client relationships.

Condello added: “We are excited about the opportunities this new division presents and I am confident that, under Jie’s leadership, we will be able to deliver unparalleled support and service to our Chinese clients with operations in North America.

“Our focus is on building a market-specific team that can deliver tailored solutions for clients in this key market.”

Recently, WTW appointed Parveen Kaur as the global leader of operations, strategy execution and data for Neuron, its commercial digital trading platform.

Kaur’s role will be to create a responsive organisation that aligns with the evolving needs of the commercial lines insurance market.

Earlier this month, WTW was also in the news for launching Indigo Vault, a document protection platform offering advanced cybersecurity for the secure sharing and storage of sensitive business files.
