Zurich Insurance Group’s Singaporean unit has teamed up with transport operator ComfortDelGro Corporation to launch a new travel insurance product, Zurich Travel Comfort.
The new offering can be accessed via ComfortDelGro’s ride-hailing app, CDG Zig.
It aligns with Zurich’s digital strategy, Zurich Edge.
CDG Zig, which has more than one million monthly active users and a total unique user base exceeding two million, will now allow users to buy Zurich’s single-trip travel insurance for individuals and families.
It is designed to cater to the demand for rides to and from Changi Airport, providing an end-to-end digital experience for travel insurance purchases.
The policy provides pre-trip coverage for customers, who book their rides via the CDG Zig app.
