Zurich Insurance UK has formed a new alliance. Zurich digital risk assessment will deploy insurtech firm Greater Than’s AI-based risk assessment platform Enerfy on the entire car fleet of Sixt Ireland.
The user-based, digital risk assessment and fleet management platform is expected to enhance safety and reward safe driving behaviour across more than 3500 Sixt vehicles.
This will be facilitated through the Greater Than AI technology that leverages machine learning and big data to calculate and price risk in real-time.
Apart from the technology for risk profiling and individual premium pricing for auto insurance, Greater Than provides other insurance solutions in Northern Europe and Asia.
Greater Than CEO Liselott Johansson said: “Joining forces with three major partners like Zurich, Sixt and Marsh demonstrates that our strategy to establish global presence is underway. This is a large step on our path towards international expansion.”
Zurich Insurance senior underwriter of Emerging Motor Risks Darren Stoddart said: “We are continuously looking for innovative solutions that can enhance our business processes, and this AI-based tech platform is of great value for that advancement. Influencing drivers to drive safer is essential to us and this is another good example of thinking outside the box.”
