Zurich Insurance Group’s Singaporean arm Zurich Insurance Company (Singapore) has hired Nixon Ooi from Chubb to serve as its head of Accident & Health (A&H) in Singapore.

With more than 12 years of industry experience, Ooi will spearhead the underwriting, portfolio management, as well as proposition development within this sector. 

Ooi’s career also includes underwriting roles at Tokio Marine Life and InterGlobal.

In May this year, Zurich Singapore named Matt Graves as its chief claims officer.  

Graves will report to Liam Burrell, Singapore CEO and head of commercial insurance Asia. He has more than 20 years of industry experience, focusing on claims management. He previously held roles at insurance majors such as Suncorp and Allianz.
